MPP's Top #5 Sustainable Summer Styles
From super comfy jumpsuits to shift dresses in organic cotton, Miss Pom Pom HQ have curated our Top #5 Favourite Sustainable Summer Styles to buy now and keep forever. There’s a sustainable summer outfit for every shape, personality and age.
#1 First up is our Green Delta Sunny Days Jumpsuit, absolutely ideal for pulling on over a bikini after a dip in the lido. Designed in our south London studio, the jumpsuit is cut to a straight silhouette shape from GOTS certified organic cotton, and screen printed by hand in Jaipur. By going organic, you can be assured that less water and no fertiliser/or pesticides were used in the growth and nurturing of the cotton plant.
#2 Taking inspiration from the bold and bright colours found amongst Salvation Mountain, California, Lowie’s Retro Sunshine Print Dress wins its place on our hit list. Cut from lightweight eco-friendly linen, we love the flattering v-neckline and puff shoulder detail. Plus, anything with pockets (and this dreamy number has two!) gets a MPP stamp of approval obvs. Not to mention the fact it's made from biodegradable flax fibre.
#3 On the hunt for something to wear for the Jubilee Bank Holiday? Then look no further than L F Markey's Ryder Dress in 100% environmentally sensitive natural cotton. Cut to an A-line silhouette we are in love with the standout striped panels of red, blue and yellow. Plus the tie belt allows room to breathe after going all out at whatever street party, platinum picnic or park festival you might be attending.
#4 If you're more of a shorts person, then we couldn't resist adding our very own hand screen printed organic cotton Multi Reef Holiday Shorts into the mix. These fun and playful shorts have an elasticated waist (we're allabout the comfort as you can see) with roomy legs for a flattering shape. Add the matching Cropped Jacket and you've got yourself a standout two-piece without costing the earth (literally).
#5 And last, but by no means least, we couldn't not include Bobo Choses dreamy Wallflower Sundress. Designed in France, it's an ode to laidback summer wanderings around rural french market towns and cut from 100% organic cotton with wooden buttons. So absolutely no plastic pollution here.
