As the days grow shorter and the leaves begin to fall, we’re embracing the new season and the cosy wardrobe staples that come with it.

Each year, we look to celebrate our vibrant South London community by collaborating with local brands and this year is no different. To keep you warm this autumn, we’re excited to introduce our latest collaborative design, The Canopy Scarf, an unconventional blend of two crafts - beer and knitwear.

Now, a craft beer company might not be the first thing that comes to mind for a knitwear collaboration, but we have long admired the playful graphic designs that Canopy Beer Company commissions for their beer cans. It was these colourful illustrations by independent artists that inspired us to approach them for our first ever collaboration with a craft beer company. This partnership was made all the more irresistible as Canopy’s brewery and Tap Room is only a stone’s throw from our Herne Hill shop.

The scarf design draws from Canopy’s collaboration with Camberwell artist Aysha Tengiz, resulting in a mixture of freeform shapes that feature in navy, aqua, yellow and pink. Due to the jacquard knit style, the same palette is present on the underside of the scarf, meaning that you’re never short of colour. Our ‘Canopy Scarf’ is made from 100% Turkish acrylic, keeping you warm whilst being vegan, hypoallergenic and machine washable. Miss Pompom is made in a small family-run factory in Istanbul and shipped in minimal packaging.
